personal
For the record, it's pronounced /tow-th/ as in "tow truck." Or Toe-th. Long "o."
I'm 21 years old and living in Northeast Ohio. Side activities of mine include drawing, playing the piano, watching Ice Road Truckers, and proofreading. I hope to one day become a visual effects artist - making different models for movies and video games. I have an unhealthy addiction to Dr. Pepper and I think that making UI icons is way more fun than it really is.
I've gotten back into playing the piano hardcore again, and it makes me happy.
professional
My current job title is Web Developer
(I do a combination of designing and programming) at Stream 9, LLC. In my free time, I freelance doing web design & programming, as well as some video editing. I have 8+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, 6+ with PHP/MySQL, and I tinker in javascript and actionscript. I met jQuery in June of 2011, and it was love at first tutorial. I've been developing custom plugins ever since.
education
An alumni of Trinity High School (2009), I received a bunch of "good" things: First Honors, National Honor Society, Thespian Society, as well as Music and English Departmental awards. After high school, I attended Kent State University for two years as a Visual Communication Design major. Realizing that it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do in life, I did some thinking and research and realized that my passion for 3D modeling and animation was where I belong. As of right now, I will not be returning to Kent in the fall but instead work full-time and save my money so that I can attend the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles, California. All programming and related skills that I've acquired are self-taught, whether from online videos, library books, or trial-and-error.
A PDF of my resume you ask? Why, yes! I have one right here!
